  • This may vary based on the specific trip you join! Our teams typically have a variety of projects including minor construction, kids outreach, evangelism, etc.

  • The most effective way to prepare for the trip is to spend time seeking God through reading His Word, prayer, and practicing obedience to His voice in your everyday life. It is also important to tell people about your trip and ask them to pray for you and support you as you prepare to go!

  • Team leaders will give you information specific to your team, such as: a schedule of team meetings, location and ministry information, and fundraising information. Since this team may include people from all Emmanuel locations, it’s important to be at the team meetings to build community as a team and prepare before you go!

  • Emmanuel has a sample support letter and best practice suggestions that will be shared with you through your team lead! You will also have a personal online giving link through our missions tool! We also recommend you begin saving some and plan to personally sacrifice as you invest in this exciting opportunity! All donations are tax deductible and non refundable.

  • After a trip is completed any excess funds remaining will be allocated by Kingdom Builders to the missionary hosts, project expenses, or additional KB team expenses. All giving received for Kingdom Builders missions teams receives charitable giving credit, and thus is non refundable and non transferrable to future trips.

  • Yes, a $200 deposit is due with your registration and then there are funding milestones leading up to the trip. These dates are different for each trip and based on the dates of paying for airfare, housing, etc.

  • Costs cover airfare, luggage, housing, meals, travel insurance, team supplies, transportation, and any in country visa’s if needed. You will need to get your passport, any vaccinations necessary, and bring your own spending money on the trip if you’d like.

  • Kingdom Builders works closely with AGWM missionaries and other reputable organizations that have seasoned missionaries on the ground wherever we go. We follow our hosts discernment and leadership as they are very familiar with where our team will be. We will postpone or cancel a team if there is a level four travel advisory in the location our team is planning on being. And lastly, trip insurance is included for all international teams.

  • This varies for each team but most mission trips include full days from early morning to evening! We usually will have a fun unique activity or free day for most teams to relax and recoup, because most of the time the team stays busy! Accommodations will range from a basic hotel room to sleeping on an air mattress in a church.
